Bring your company, organization, or school to Habitat Choptank for a day of volunteering, team building, and fun!

Our Group Build Program is an engagement opportunity that helps build stronger teams while providing a unique way to give back to the community.

Team Building Opportunities: Organizations of all sized can engage their team members and encourage stronger relations while learning new skills.

No Construction Experience Needed: Habitat provides all the tools and training for your group.

Strategic Marketing Exposure: Organizations can show they are making a difference in the community through marketing conducted by Habitat Choptank.

Requirements:

  • We ask for a tax-deductible donation of $50 per person in your group (for a maximum of 12) to cover the cost of materials, training, and supervision, and a T-shirt and lunch for each team member. For groups that plan to volunteer on a recurring basis, this will be a one-time fee for the first day of the group’s service.
  • Group Build days are on Fridays and Saturdays and can be scheduled with our Volunteer Coordinator.
  • The Group Leader will register and pay for the group using a link provided by our Volunteer Coordinator.
  • The group will complete Volunteer Orientation, including each team member completing our online Volunteer Application and Waiver.
